The Scandrea Implant System is one of our most recently developed implant system, which is the result of an outstanding engineering accomplishment. As a premium category system at BIONIKA, Scandrea meets the highest expectations.
It is perfectly suitable for the average bone structures, holding the toothworks on the long run. This type covers the 75% of the occurring cases. The raw material of the Scandrea Implant system is high solidity alloyed titanium with a homogeneous structure.
We use a fixation that results in a micromovement-free power transmission, and also offers favorable conditions for accurate sampling. It superimposes powers deep inside the implant.
Cortical Level - The chances of the implant persistency are significantly improved by inserting the upper edge of the implant at the cortical level or below.
Platform switching - The diameter of the abutment is smaller than the outer part of the implant which is connected to the bone. The bone can crawl on to the upper edge of the implant.
Spirally microstriated surface - The microstriated spiral surface functions as a significant weight bearing element. The self-closing thread structure and the cycloid cord thread ensure a condition free from micromovements and fast insertion.
Anatomical tooth root shape- The implant screw thread has a bone compacting effect due to its conicity, high thread pitch and depth, self-closing and self-tapping shape. With enough caution, the implant can be loaded immediately, without any adverse consequences.
Rounded implant end - It helps facilitating minor direction changes when inserting the implant.
The Scandrea Implant System consists of six implants of different diameters, in a wide range of lengths, in order to be an adequate solution for every situation. Scandrea implant is made of high solidity alloyed titanium with a homogeneous structure.
Every Scandrea implant is available in a standard contour and also in the high contoured „Scandrea+” design.
In all cases of implant abutments, alloyed, high solidity Grade 5 titanium is applied according to the ISO 5832-4 ASTM F136 standard.
